Volunteer Descriptions

Volunteer on our Projects - Rebuilding Day (April) or Make a Difference Day (October)

On the last weekend of April, we mobilize thousands of community volunteers to provide free home repairs and renovations for nonprofits, community centers and schools throughout San Francisco. Managing 30-50 renovation projects means we need lots of volunteers! Each year, about 1,400 dedicated community members give us their time and dedication to help make a considerable difference for a low-income family, a widowed senior or a small after school program. In addition to our April build projects, we also renovate 5-10 homes and nonprofits in October as well – please take a look at a couple of the volunteer needs we have. If you don’t see a fit, shoot us an email – I’m sure I can find a great spot for you!

Each year, during the last Saturday of April, Rebuilding Together San Francisco completes 30-50 residential and community improvement projects that help change the lives of thousands of people.
