As a part of the CapacityCorps program, we have had the opportunity to travel and work in different areas of the country. We have built houses in New Orleans and Lafayette, Louisiana and last week, Denver for Rebuilding Together’s Building a Healthy Neighborhood event. We led the volunteers from some of our favorite sponsors (Lowe’s & Wells Fargo) and new volunteers as well! Just a recap, May 14-21 was National AmeriCorps Week which seeks to highlight what AmeriCorps members are doing across the country, as well as inspire service in the community!
For this year’s AmeriCorps week, the RTSF AmeriCorps members decided to team up with the Community Health Corps in San Francisco.
