The Project: St. Cyprian’s Episcopal Church mission is to create a community where everyone matters and is a valuable resource to San Francisco residents. Their space is used for community run meetings that respond to local needs and they host an after school and summer program for underserved youth. Their community space is often utilized by SF Live Arts, Village Project, AA Al-Anon, Yoga classes, NOPNA, and other local groups focused on ecology, transportation, safety and neighborhood connectedness.

Why We Love Them: From the moment St. Cyprian’s found out they were chosen to be a Rebuilding Day project site, they were ecstatic! Take a look at the lovely note they sent us on 12/23/2011 stating “Thank you so much for approving our application. We look forward to working with you!”
How They Found Us: Research and networking pays off! St. Cyprian was in need of renovating their facility and through research, they came across RTSF.
The Need: St. Cyprian’s opens their space for the community to utilize and they would like to convert their space into a welcoming environment with ample space for meetings and rehearsals.
The Rebuilding Day Team:
Under the leadership of Construction Captains Joe Coleman from Laramar and Debra Baida from NAPO, St. Cyprians had a tremendous amount of work accomplished. Joe determined the work to completed on Rebuilding Day and recruited volunteers from Laramar. Meanwhile, Debra and her fierce organizational skills was able to coordinate all organizing elements of the project.
A big thank you goes out to all volunteers from Laramar who came out and put in a full day of work on Saturday April 28th!
The Work:
Partners: A big shout out to all following companies and volunteers that provided additional support to St. Cyprians.
