Rebuilding Together believes in a safe and healthy home for every person. Are you ready to turn your idealism into action? In the past, we have worked with wonderful AmeriCorps members and we are currently seeking an AmeriCorps member to serve in our office in San Francisco beginning January 2013.
The Rebuilding Together CapacityCorps program is a National*Direct AmeriCorps program with 65 full-time AmeriCorps members serving around the country. Members build the capacity of grassroots Rebuilding Together programs so that they may be more sustainable, effective and efficient in helping additional low-income homeowners in need. AmeriCorps Members with Rebuilding Together wear many hats including House Project Captain, Volunteer Coordinator, Homeowner Liaison, Capacity Building, Community Organizer and as an AmeriCorps member. The January CapacityCorps Member will play an essential role in building our capacity here in San Francisco such as: recruiting volunteers, performing direct home repairs, engaging in homeowner outreach and building community partnerships.
We are now accepting applications for our January AmeriCorps Outreach Coordinator position. Service for the January Class of 2013 begins January 13, 2013 and concludes in December 2013.
